{"id":497,"date":"2014-10-03T09:32:57","date_gmt":"2014-10-03T09:32:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/acora2021arch.wpengine.com\/blog\/?p=497"},"modified":"2024-05-24T14:56:21","modified_gmt":"2024-05-24T14:56:21","slug":"have-you-outgrown-your-it-service-provider","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/acora.s.nomatter.dev\/nltest\/news\/archive\/have-you-outgrown-your-it-service-provider\/","title":{"rendered":"Have you outgrown your IT service provider?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>IT outsourcing customers are losing patience with service providers who aren&#8217;t working with them to provide value beyond the basic terms of their contracts.<\/p>\n<p>According to the 2014 State of Outsourcing study conducted by outsourcing analyst firm HfS Research in conjunction with KPMG, close to a quarter of outsourcing clients will actively seek to replace \u00a0their current provider if they have not effectively helped them standardise, automate, or transform their processes within the next two years.<\/p>\n<p>The survey of 312 companies found that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>37 percent of outsourcing customers will consider looking for a new provider if they fail to meet compliance requirements<\/li>\n<li>28 percent may do so if the provider is failing to provide greater flexibility to achieve scale<\/li>\n<li>27 percent will look for a new provider if they don&#8217;t lower operating costs<\/li>\n<li>22 percent will consider moving on if their provider can&#8217;t deliver better standardised or transformed processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Outsourcing comes of age<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pre-recession mid-market businesses saw <a href=\"https:\/\/acora.com\/our-services\/\">IT outsourcing<\/a> as a way of cutting costs and improving operational efficiency. Post-recession, it\u2019s less about cutting costs, with the same mid-market companies increasingly looking to their service provider to add <em>value<\/em> to their business.<\/p>\n<p>Do you think you may have outgrown your outsourcing provider?
